Self-Load Service
If you are happy to do the moving yourselves, we offer a self loading service. We will provide the relevant sized vehicle, drive to your current property where you will then load up your belongings whilst our driver waits. Our driver will then drive to your new property, where you then commence unloading.
This service is great for smaller moves, where you have adequate manpower (friends/family) to help carry your items to and from the vehicle.
Our self load service includes:
- Vehicle and driver. Vehicles available: 3.5 tonne luton, 12 tonne truck or 15 tonne truck
- Loading ramps
- Sack barrow
- Furniture blankets
- Ties for securing your goods
- Fuel
Our self load service does not include:
- Manpower to load and unload - you must be able to do this yourself
- Padded furniture covers
- Wardrobe boxes (unless requested and hire paid for)
- Liability insurance for goods or property
Our pricing is bespoke depending on your requirement. We can work with you to assess the vehicle required and a move plan. For example if you have a 15 tonne truck worth of volume and are moving on completion day, you may need the truck for 2 days as it may not be physically possible for you to get all of your belongings loaded (by 1.00pm) and unloaded in one day.
Although we would not be carrying out the full removal, we are still on hand to provide our expert advice to help your move day run smoothly and our driver will provide advice on the day if/where needed, but wouldn't be physically involved.
The vehicles also have weight limits, therefore our driver will advise when the load is heavy enough.
Important: It is essential that you can physically load your belongings yourself within the time booked as with the self loading service, we will not be providing crew to help with this.
Our 12 tonne is Euro 6 - LEZ and ULEZ compliant, meaning no additional charges for moves in and out of the London zones.
