In addition to a home visit survey (where our surveyor comes out to your property), you can provide us with a video tour of your property in order for us to provide a quotation.

The advantage of this is that you can make the video and send it to us at a time that suits you. It is also a great option if you have a last-minute move that you need a quote for.

If you would like to provide us with a video of your property and receive a quotation, please following the steps below:

Open all cupboards and wardrobes

This enables you to show us the contents without attempting to open whilst filming.

We will need to view cupboard and wardrobe contents in order to accurately assess the quantity and volume of boxes and wardrobe boxes required.

Start outside the entrance to your property

Video the external access to your property including showing us where we can park.

Enter your property

Walk round showing us all rooms, ensuring that we can see every corner of each room including all furniture and cupboard contents.

Tips:

  • Stand at the door of each room and record a slow, 360 degrees of the room.
  • Record a continuous video rather than stopping and starting in each room. This allows us to see the access on stairs and hallways too.
  • Don't forget the loft and cupboards - it's best to open these before starting your video.
  • Try to keep videos under 6 minutes to ensure WhatsApp will not cut them short. Send more than 1 video if needed.
