Packing Services
A professional service from start to finish
We know that packing is an important part of any house move but it is often one of the most difficult. We offer a professional removals packing service using professionally trained staff to take care of the packing for you.
When you book a packing service with us, you are booking a level service. Your belongings will be packed using the correct materials, and to the highest standard, following (British Association of Removers) training. Customers often feed back to us on how surprised they were at the standard and neatness of our packing and how stress-free it made their move. Having us pack for you really does save you time, stress and worry.
We have both male and female packers, and if you have a specific requirement we will endeavour to fulfil, subject to availability.
We use a range of high quality, purpose-made materials and all of our boxes are double-wall, multi-use and environmentally friendly - made from 75% recycled material and we recycle our boxes for packing where possible.
Full Packing
This is our most popular service, which saves our customers time and hassle. Our professional packers will come to your home, usually a day before your move and pack everything up for you.
Our packers will check with you before packing commences to go through anything that you do not want packed, to ensure that no important paperwork or items that you need the next day are packed.
All boxes are clearly labelled using our specially designed labelling tape to detail the contents and the room in which it came from.
Customers usually don't even need to take time off work with this service - once shown around, our customers leave us to it, and we literally take care of your whole move for you, meaning you do not need to worry or lift a finger!
Fragile Packing
If you are happy to do the majority of your packing but you are not sure how best to pack your fragile items, we can professionally pack these for you. This service will include:
• China (i.e plates, mugs, ornaments)
• Glassware (i.e items made of glass, such as bowls, Pyrex, drinking containers, vases and ornaments)
• Porcelain (i.e figurines, oven dishes)
• Lamps
• Mirrors and pictures
We ask you to collate fragiles to two areas - one being the kitchen (leave these items in the cupboards they are currently in) - we will retrieve from the kitchen cupboards. Other items from around your property are best to collate onto the dining table. This means we aren't searching round for them.
Kitchen Packing
The kitchen is the most time consuming room to pack in most houses, and usually contains a large quantity of fragiles. If you are happy to do the majority of your packing but you would like us to pack the kitchen only, we can do this.
This may be done before, or on the morning of your move.
Self Packing
If you prefer to pack yourself, boxes and packing materials can be purchased or loaned from us. We highly recommend that if you are packing yourselves, that strong, professional moving boxes are used.
It is also very important that you are able to complete the packing prior to our arrival on your moving day.
Unpacking
If you would like us to help you unpack, we can tailor an unpacking service to your requirements - for example you may just want us to unpack your kitchen boxes, or certain rooms, or you may want us to unpack everything. As standard with unpacking, we would lay the contents onto available flat surfaces, remove all packaging materials and empty boxes, ready for you to inspect the items and place them in your desired cupboard / shelf.
We can also provide a maid service, which means that we will go one step further than the above, and place everything into your desired location (under your guidance).
Why book our packing service?
Often people underestimate the time and work required to pack their property before their move. If you can, we would recommend to take advantage of our full packing service. As our experienced team will usually come to your property the day before your move, this is much better for you; our customer, than having boxes taking up space and a partially packed house for weeks. It can take 2-3 weeks for most people to pack their own property due to distractions and not being able to pack everything in one go as things are still in use - whereas we will come in, with the sole purpose of packing and have your home packed in one day, reducing the stress and length of the moving process.
You also only have to be present to let us in and do a walk around with us, meaning that our customer's don't even need to take a day off work for the packing service. We literally take care of everything for you!
Every box we pack is done so to professional standards using the appropriate packing materials, and fragile items are professionally wrapped and packed to avoid damage or breakage. Every box is then carefully labelled with the room it belongs to and it's contents.
