What a fantastic team! Ashlea was professional and courteous and ensured she had a good understanding as to what we would need as well as inform us of what would happen on the day. The quote was realistic too (some others were ridiculously high!). Kym was also very helpful and ensured that we got the date we were hoping for. Our team, led by Rob, worked their socks off. I have never seen a lorry packed so well! Nothing was too much trouble, the front door and floors were all covered to protect against damage as well as covers for our furniture on the lorries which meant that everything arrived in pristine condition. We had collection and delivery a day apart (due to location) and the team still arrived early and kept going until they were done. A shout out to Abel, who never stopped (and can carry more boxes than anyone I have ever met). Thanks to all of the team for making this part of the move process easy, simple and stress free. Would highly recommend.

I want to thank you all so much for the excellent service you provided me - from my initial enquiry to Kym, a home consultation with Ashlea, box drop off by Peter, to the move itself - no question or request was too great. Kym did a fantastic job working out the plan and kept in touch regularly, so not once did I feel forgotten about.
The removals team, Russell, Abel, Liam and Ashlea, were the hardest working team I have had the pleasure of dealing with. From the moment they arrived at 8:15am prompt, to the late afternoon finish, they worked non-stop, taking my furniture down 8+ floors to the vans and then again from a large storage unit. Every item was handled with the utmost care, moved and packed safely into the vans for transport.
I cannot recommend Akers Removals enough - if ever you need a dream team to help you have a stress-free move, this is the company for you! Thanks again!

Highly recommended. Everything about the whole process is professional from Ashlea's super overview of how things will proceed to the packing, the moving and the unpacking. We had a complex move involving three properties including a temporary stay in storage for some of our stuff and collection of furniture from a fourth property! All this was handled politely and efficiently. Akers may not be the cheapest but they are definitely worth the price. Special mention to Kym for her patience in dealing with all the admin and silly questions we asked :-)

After 29 years we decided to leave our happy house in St. Albans and move to Wales. We decided to use Akers removal and packaging services, many thanks to Ashley who came to see what were moving with and give us an estimate, she also told us what would happen when the removal day came.
